Senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani has reacted to recent attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in two villages in the Birnin-Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State.
It was reported that no fewer than ten persons were on Saturday killed as Fulani herdsmen attacked two villages in the Birnin-Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State.
The attack was said to have lasted for hours as the suspected herdsmen moved from one village to another, killing and burning houses.
The lawmaker on his twitter page promised to raise the matter in the Senate to ensure security of residents.
He tweeted “There’s a fresh attack by Gunmen in my constituency, Birnin Gwari LG, Kaduna state today, killing scores of people.
“My condolences to the families of the deceased. I will surely raise this on the floor of the senate on our resumption, Insha Allah.”
